About this role

A producer for the Sky Sports’ set design team is responsible for the delivery of a wide range of both studio and outside broadcast sets. Being meticulously organised is essential, not only to meet the multiple deadlines that often occur within the sporting calendar but also to plan and control the budget. Excellent communication skills are vital: aside from the dedicated set designer with whom they work, producers must liaise closely with internal teams like sports design, print, technology and innovation, plus external suppliers such as set builders or printers. The result – for example the Open Zone for Sky Sports’ BAFTA award winning coverage of the Open golf – is a critical part of Sky’s success.
