About this role

Set designers need to possess a wide range of skills to steer a project from brief and concept to installation and on air. They must have a strong ability in 3D software such as C4D and AutoCAD, required for creating visuals, drawings and plans; they must possess knowledge of construction techniques, materials and finishes; they must be great communicators, adept in liaising with and directing many different craft teams; they need to be astute when managing budgets and costs and they need to be creatively and visually aware when, for example, considering outside broadcast venues or sourcing furniture.
