Our mission? To create a unique identity for this product that would reposition Sky beyond the satellite dish and stand out from all the other streaming platforms and devices.
In a world full of rectangles, we decided to present something different to other streamers. A twist. Literally.
Our idea was to spin our Sky Stream puck 45 degrees, creating a diamond shape which formed the basis of our logo and the entire design system. It also encapsulated the campaign theme: TV with a twist.
There’s a new way to get Sky. And it’s never been easier.
We introduced Sky Stream to the nation across digital, social, email and direct mail. And our social efforts paid off big time, with searches for Sky Stream rising from 8,000 to 68,000 in just seven days. That’s an increase of over 700%, week-on-week.
